Department of Defense Legacy Awardees

In 2011, there were 41 NPLD Department of Defense (DoD) Legacy Awardees in 21 states. Legacy Awardees organized projects that involve enhancing cultural resources, maintaining pollinator ecosystems, revitalizing natural areas and more. Projects occurred from mid-September through late November.
