Fifty volunteers removed 600 pounds of non-native vegetation, including blackberries; shoveled and raked 12,500 pounds of wood chips along the main Muskrat trail; and picked up 30 bags of litter and debris from Mission and Muskrat Creeks. The clearing work completed by the volunteers opened up areas to the more than 1,700 students who come through the park each year.
