Learn How You Can Help Spruce Up Our Beautiful Lands!

SPONSORS: Toyota

TOYOTA & National Public Lands Day

Toyota volunteers from San Francisco take a break from their hard workday and pose for a group photo

For the seventh consecutive year, TOYOTA is the national NPLD sponsor. Sponsorship of national and regional environmental preservation projects is just one of many areas in which Toyota has proven environmental stewardship. Toyota operates under a Global Earth Charter that makes caring for the earth a priority. The company created the world's first mass-produced, clean-running gas/electric hybrid car, the Prius, which has received numerous environmental awards, most notably from the Sierra Club and National Wildlife Federation.

Take Pride in America, the renewed national program of volunteer service on public lands, recognized Toyota's contributions to our nation's lands, presenting Toyota the corporate award for 2003.

Toyota demonstrates environmental stewardship on National Public Lands Day when Toyota employees gather at worksites throughout the country to lend a hand to our public lands.
