Restore Louisville's Olmsted Parks!

This is a year round event Olmsted Parks Conservancy is looking for volunteers to help restore, enhance and preserve Louisville's Olmsted parks. Make new friends, get some exercise, and have fun while making parks a more attractive part of the community! Individuals and groups welcome! Volunteers are needed to restore natural areas, maintain facilities, lead educational programs, with membership mailings and data management in the office, and with outreach at community events. Warner Parks Tree Trust Program

Metro Nashville Parks & Recreation in partnership with the Friends of Warner Park Tree Trust program promotes the use of native trees for planting both in maintained and natural areas. The maintenance of these planted trees is maintained monthly by staff.

Restore native plants to local habitats. Tasks vary depending on season: Winter (brush cutting), Spring (planting), Summer (weeding), Fall (seed collecting). Saturday workdays year-round from 9 - 11 a.m. Additional workdays other times of the year.

Volunteer in the Mountains to Sound Greenway!

Every Saturday throughout the year volunteers help build and maintain trails, plant trees, and remove invasive species to improve the quality of the public lands in the Greenway corridor. Come out and have fun, meet new people, and work in the outdoors
