Public Lands Program Roanoke Watershed Grants

The Public Lands Program of The National Environmental Education Foundation is announcing that three small grants of $2,000-$4,000 each will be awarded to community-based nonprofits located in the Roanoke River watershed that meet the grant eligibility requirements and make the best case for how the funds will engage the community in improving the health of the Roanoke River watershed.

Watershed improvement can take many forms, including, but not limited to, planting riparian zones or other shoreline vegetation, invasive species removal and maintenance of recreational areas.
