The Phoenix Outdoor Recreation Fair contains recreational and environmental education information from over 50 agencies along with a hands-on volunteer project. This year the event will take place at the South Mountain Environmental Education Center.

Join VOAZ and the White Mountain Apache tribe in the construction of the Sevenmile Trail just outside Fort Apache. We will build tread through moderately slopped terrain in a beautiful section of ponderosa, pinon and juniper forest in corridor that has been rough cleared. Primitive (tent) camping on the grounds of historic Fort Apache (with port-a-jon and running water) next to the East Fork of the White River at approximately 5000'. VOAZ will serve continental breakfast/coffee service and dinner on Saturday and full breakfast on Sunday.
