Cottage Home Pocket park

We are renovating and improving neighborhood vacant greenspace that sits on 5 lots in the center of the Cottage Home neighborhood. We have already moved and expanded the vegetable gardens, and will be building a new park shelter of re-used and recycled materials (including using a section of the RCA dome roof for the shelter roof), creating a gathering and performance space, a rain garden, a wildflower garden to support a bee hive, pathways leading people from the street to the center of the park, and trees and flowers for a beautiful gathering space for the neighborhood.
