Horicon National Wildlife Refuge

Help refuge staff and volunteers remove invasive plants on the refuge. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and gloves are recommended. All ages welcome - this is a great activity for scout groups. Meet at the Egret Trail boardwalk parking lot off the auto tour route off Hwy 49. 9:30am to 12:00pm

Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center

Remove invasive species from 10am-noon. At 9am there will be a presentation on treating invasive species. Volunteers will receive a free pair of “Weed Warrior” gardening gloves. A tour of the new Aldo Leopold Native Seed Orchard will be followed by a free pizza lunch at noon at the Visitor Center.
