White House Conference on America's Great Outdoors
On April 16, 2010, the White House and Department of the Interior hosted the America’s Great Outdoors Conference, which addressed the challenges, opportunities and innovations surrounding modern-day land conservation and the importance of reconnecting Americans and American families to the outdoors.
The conference featured remarks from President Obama, CEQ Chair Nancy Sutley, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, and EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson.
