Children and Nature Network: Volunteer on National Public Lands Day
The Children and Nature Network collaborated with National Public Lands Day in 2011 to promote volunteerism throughout the month of September. Families were invited to volunteer outside on NPLD or find a community service project through the Natural Service Network.
The Natural Service Network seeks to inspire young people to be active in the outdoors with recreational activities, volunteerism and play.
