February 2013

The February issue, titled "New Training & Grant Opportunities," features articles on free finanacial literacy trainings for public lands groups, Every Day Event Grants, Let's G.O. month in April, the Kids to Parks Day school contest and Endangered Species on Public Lands, which includes information about the California condor.

January 2013

The January issue, titled "Be a Part of NPLD's 20th Anniversary Celebration", features articles on how to participate in the upcoming anniversary, connecting with NPLD through social media, a 2013 calendar of volunteer and education events and the Site of the Month. Fisherman's Point Day Use Area in Shasta Lake, Calif. serves as the Site of the Month.

December 2012

The December issue, titled "Happy Holidays", features articles on the Urban Waters Restoration Grants, the 2013 fee-free days calendar, the top 10 items found on NPLD, the Volunteer of the Year Awards and the Site of the Month, Olmos Basin Park in San Antonio.

November 2012

The November issue, titled "Celebrate Your NPLD Volunteers", features articles on the Volunteer of the Year Awards, final stats from NPLD 2012, the Bartlett Award winner and the Site of the Month, Shawnee National Forest

September 2012

The September issue, titled "Photo Contest and Support Grows for NPLD", features articles on the annual photo contest, the Connecting Youth to the Outdoors grants, the new partnership with the North-American Interfraternity Conference, ideas on hosting a BioBlitz and city and state NPLD proclamations. The Site of the Month was every NPLD site!

August #2 2012

The second of two August issues, titled "Free Social Media Webinar Tomorrow", features articles on the social media marketing webinar, the last promotional materials deadline, the announcements of the 2012 video contest winners, Serve Outside September (S.O.S.), Michigan Trails Week and the site of the month, Lake Pleasant Regional Park in Arizona.

August #1 2012
