Join Park Rangers and volunteers and help plant scores of native wildflowers in a meadow restoration area. Native Thistle, Iron Weed, Coreopsis, White Wild Indigo and Mountain Mint are the plants that were grown from locally collected seed this year and will be planted by volunteers as part of the Georgia "Pollinator Initiative Day". Once the plants are in the ground, volunteers can assist in clearing brush that is threatening to enclose the meadow habitat and make room for next years project.
