Association of Partners for Public Lands

The Association of Partners for Public Lands (APPL) supports friends groups and nonprofits that work toward improving our nation's public lands. APPL focuses on capacity building, serving as a voice for APPL members with government agencies and producing educational resources to improve communication and partnerships. 

APPL members mainly work with state and federal public lands. They fundraise, produce educational materials and lead volunteer events.  Many NPLD events are hosted by APPL members, such as the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. Visit the APPL website.

In 2011, APPL partnered with NPLD to host two webinars for friends groups on fundraising: the Case for Support and Developing a Fundraising Plan.
