Friends Groups and Local Nonprofits

National Public Lands Day wouldn’t be as successful without the partnership of numerous nonprofit "Friends Groups" that participate each year. Friends Groups organize a significant percentage of National Public Lands Day volunteer work events.
The National Environmental Education Foundation supports friends groups through the Every Day Grant program. Every Day grants provide funds to friends groups for capacity building. Learn more at the Every Day Grants website.
