National Public Lands Day Photo Contest

Calling all National Public Lands Day Volunteers!

Get out your cameras and take some photos! Celebrate the natural beauty of America’s public lands and catch fellow volunteers in action.

For the past 16 years, National Public Lands Day has challenged those who love their nation’s parks to get out on National Public Lands Day and lend a hand for public lands. Now volunteers can also showcase their public parks, forests and beaches with their photographs.

This annual contest is open to all NPLD volunteers and is limited to amateur photographers. Winning photos will be used for National Public Lands Day promotion, which might include the website, newsletters, posters, brochures, and other materials.
